Brief: Structural steel supply and erection for a new production facility, including primary framing, mezzanine platforms, and equipment support steel integrated around active process equipment.
Technical considerations: Sequencing around other trades already on-site; equipment-support tolerances tighter than standard building steel; constrained crane access on an industrial lot.
Our approach: Erection sequence built jointly with the GC's mechanical/process trades; connections reviewed for equipment-load compatibility before fabrication release.
Brief: Structural steel erection for bridge support and approach structures under active-traffic and public-safety constraints.
Technical considerations: Night-window erection; higher-tolerance survey control against existing concrete substructure; DOT-level inspection and documentation.
Our approach: Lift plans built against traffic-control windows; every connection logged to a public-agency record-keeping standard.
Brief: Structural steel tie-in for an expansion bay added to an operating industrial facility.
Technical considerations: Matching connections to as-built (not as-designed) conditions; fire-life-safety separation during construction; working around production schedules.
Our approach: Field verification of existing conditions before shop drawing finalization; erection phased around the client's production calendar.
